Normally the products are broken down into categories. Each product is placed into one category when you add it, or edit it by filling in the "category" field. This is always the deepest selection for each product's category. Thus if you use a tiered page, the tiered page name becomes the category, and the category entry in the product actually becomes the subcategory.

 To make a tiered page, simply click on the "Tiered Page Creation" under the heading of "Front Page Creation & Customization" on the "Program Settings" screen of the manager. A tiered page is identical to the front page, and can be customized the same way. The only difference is that the frontpage is displayed automatically when the store is first entered, and the other tiered pages must be called by name in a link.

 When you create the tiered page the manager will allow you to determine if you wish to have a search box or not. It will used the color settings for the body that the frontpage uses to maintain the look and feel of your site. The manager will also display a list of all the (sub)categories of products you have in the database with a checkbox and textbox for each.

 To create the tiered page, give it a name. This name will appear in the title and body of the page as the category, so give it a sensible title. Then select if you want a search box at the top of the tiered page, and select which subcategories are to be under this category. You can enter additional text for each category in the box under the checkbox.

 When finished, click on "make" and the tiered page will be made, or remade.

 The bottom of the page saying that the tiered page was successfully made has a link on it so you can view the tiered page you just made. Also, the first time you make a tiered page, it will generate a template. If you return to the "program settings" screen you will see that there is now a "tiered template" under "Edit or upload pages/Tiered Pages". If you click on the link for this template you can modify the template to complete customize it such that all future tiered pages will have exactly the same look and feel.
